Forgive me but this is a big selling point for me

I'm pretty sure now they say Lenovo on them. But its still the same "logo" design, with the logo on the corner and stuff.
-
My T60 has IBM tri-color lettering on the top right of the lid as well as the bottom right of the notebook near the arrow keys. On the bottom of the screen near the right hinge it says lenovo T60. I am not sure how the T61 is set up but I would bet that it's similar. Remember, Lenovo paid a ton of money to be able to use the IBM Thinkpad logo.

Depends. My new T60 does not have IBM logo.

I actually have a T61. And it has the old sticker on both the lid and the palmrest.

By the way Johnny, could you type your posts in normal text size? Thank you.Last edited by a moderator: May 8, 2015 -
All ThinkPads that are bought by large enterprises and corporations have the new ThinkPad Logo.
All ThinkPads that are bought for personal use have the good old IBM/ThinkPad logo on 'em. -
If you order a T61 through a corporate account, there is a good chance that your thinkpad will NOT say IBM on it, it will have the newer thinkpad logo.
but yes, even if your laptop is IBM "branded", it will say lenovo to the right of the status led's -

I just saw an older (obviously) z61m in Sams with no ibm logo anywhere. Thinkpad only. Looked sparse, looked cheap.
The t-61 I returned had IBM logo on both palmrest and lid. -
I noticed the Z series at Sam's club have the new ThinkPad logo.
-
I bought two identically configured T61s recently - one through SPP and the other through my Lenovo alumni account. The former had the IBM logo and the latter the new Thinkpad logo. To me, no big deal.
Do they still come with a three-colored "IBM" sticker on em?
