    Do they charge tax at the Outlet?

    Yes I have searched (maybe not hard enough). Does Lenovo charge tax at the Outlet? I ask because I signed up, had something in my cart, and it said $380, grand total: $380. :confused:

    Yes. Legally, Lenovo has to collect tax for some states. I know that for my state (North Carolina) they absolutely do charge sales tax.

    For California at least, yes. I believe it's much the same as the regular store in terms of tax collection.

    Dell's Outlet won't show you tax til you actually go to the final steps. Many states are now charging taxes for online purchases as it circumvents "normal" purchasing tax.
