Can an 8-cell battery on X61s be used on all X60 series?
Can it be used on X200s? (I guess not)

I believe that the X60s and X61s uses the same battery, and the X60 and X61 uses the same battery. These are two separately lines of batteries, and are not interchangeable.

zephir, I just found this post that says they are all the same, though needs confirmation from other sources.

I don't really believe that. Take a look at Lenovo Outlet's link below. They list battery for X60 series and X60s series separately:

Also, on the Lenovo website, they list the X60 series and X60s series batteries separately as well

Hmm, upon further inspection, it appears that only the Slimline battery is exclusive for the X60s-series, other batteries are interchangeable. Unless there's somebody else who want to chime in, consider this post my final thoughts on the matter.

But not X200s?

Absolutely not. You can't use X200-series batteries with X60-series, and vice versa.
Do X61/X61s/X60 use the same batteries?
