This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Do I need to re-create recovery disc?

    My thinkpad was sent for repair. The motherboard was replaced, and machine is back to factory state (all the programs I had installed were wiped). I had created rescue and recovery disc before sending for repair. Now do I need to do it over, re-creating the discs?

    no not really, you can if you want just for a backup sake.
