I will perform a clean install on my lappy, I don't have it yet though so I have no clue if thinkvantage softs are any good.

I used to never install Dell's software.

Can thinkpad users give their feedback?

    Thanks!

I personally like the ThinkVantage suite, makes me feel like my laptop is secure and what not.

Before doing a clean install you might want to check out some of the applications in the suite to see if you need any. Correct me if i'm wrong, but you can install individual ones.
