I have a Lenovo X200 and the Display Adapters were removed (Intel 4 series chipset) while attempting to install a ViDock. The ViDock is incompatible with the BIOS so it is gone. I tried to install the drivers from the Lenovo site but was unsuccessful so even one of my external monitors doesn't work - now I don't even see Display Adapters in device manager. Can someone direct me to a solution?

I did something similar to what you're trying. in BIOS go to:

advanced chipset features/on chip video window size and disable it.

    and

Integrated peripherals/ init display first should be set to PCI slot

That will disable the indigenous video. It will probably take those listings out of device manager as well.

These settings are completely reversible since re-enabling it will force the OS to reinstall it as it was. it will come up in VGA mode.

So you say, how, how can I see what I'm changing? remove the CMOS battery and allow the BIOS to return to default.

Of course with you, don't have on board video they have to swap out the video (AGP or PCI)card which is also an option for you.
