    Hello,

I have an R61i, and when I restart, my brightness is what it is supposed to be at login screen, and then, once I log in, screen flickers, and brightness resets to level 1, minimum, and I have to either boost in up with brightness keys, or switch to another power plan, and then back to the plan with my brightness settings, then it goes back to normal.

(I don't have any thinkvantage utilities installed except fingerprint reader)

    Please help, it is annoying.

I had the same thing happening with my x61s for a while, I'm not sure why, but it just stopped happening.

    Hey again,

It is weird, but this problem only appears when "hotkey" driver is installed...
without it everything is fine, very strange,
I went and disabled the load of on-screen display in msconfig, i dont really care about voluse level on screen, at least the radio on/off works, thats all i need.

    maybe this will help someone.
