This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hello there,
    I was interested to find out that the release date of the new X230 tablet is still 3-4 weeks off here in the UK, but I see in the thread below an American (I presume) has received theirs already.Loads of other places in the world already have them released (well I know of Australia - for the non tablet, haven't looked at other countries much). Does anyone know why there is a 5 week difference in release dates? us poor old brits eh...

    Probably because there's not enough supply to serve both markets, so they picked one - the US.
