My Diskspace "Use" double yesterday sometime by 37G. I do not have a Glue!! How can I figure-out the Total Diskspace Used by file/program (breakdown)? I want to recover the 37G of Diskspace! What happend! Has this occurred on your machine? It must be a backup error!

    Thanks,

    Sircas

if it is vista it is more than likely the volume shadow copies(back up stuff). just open up disk cleanup and go to the 2nd tab called more options and then you should see the button to clean up system restore and volume copies. and run that it will clean up all but the most recent.

Try windirstat, it will give you a graphical breakdown of all items on the drive.

    Usual suspects:

    Pagefile (at least RAM size)
    Hibernate (RAM size)
    System Restore/VSC (15% of drive) [ check & reduce]
