The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Please see the picture I uploaded. This is a dual boot Vista 32 / W7 64 Thinkpad. I have Bitlocker on both. Can I safely (emphasized) get rid of the drive letter for partition D? The preload is Vista. C is W7.

    I had to recover from an image using W7 as had some problems. As a result D showed and I think it didsnt exist previously. It bothers me to see it in Computer.
