    Hi guys,

I read that disabling TPM module in BIOS can decrease your boot time by 5 or so seconds. I don't think I use this feature so I want to try it. What are the consequences?

Has anyone here tried it and if so what were your results?

If it is worth it, I'd be grateful if you'd walk me through it.

    Thanks!

It won't harm anything. It's in the Security section of the BIOS. If you aren't using TPM for security, there's really no need to have it enabled.

I've had it disabled for quite some time; can't say if there's a difference, though. If there is, I don't really notice it.
