    Hello friends,
How to disable intel turbo memory on windows XP?

    On this site:
    http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-68244

There is an installation instructions like this :
    Clean install

    1. Start Windows XP/2000 and logon with administrative privileges.
    2. (Windows XP)
Click Start, then click Control Panel. Click Performance and Maintenance, then click System.
    (Windows 2000)
Click Start, click Settings, then click Control Panel. Double-click System.
    3. Click the Hardware tab.
    4. Click Device Manager.
    5. Right-click PCI Memory Controller, then click Properties.
    6. Click the Driver tab.
    7. Click Update Driver.
    8. Select No, not this time, then click Next.
    9. Select Install from a list or specific location.
    10. Click Next.
    11. Select Search for the best driver in these locations and Include this location in the search.
    12. Click Browse.
    13. Locate the driver folder, then click OK.
    14. Click Next. The driver installation will begin.
    15. Click Finish.
    16. Click Close.

Windows XP does not support Turbo Memory. Thus, there is nothing to remove.

They made it because when you order a Vista computer with Turbo Memory and downgrade to XP, the driver for Turbo Memory will be unidentified in Device Manager because XP can't use it. This disabling tool removes that exclamation.

For the blue screen, you're going to have to tell us more about it. Any code?

For starters, try disabling Sonic DLA if you have it. Right click on your optical drive and disable it.
