    Disable mouse thingy on T500

    Is it possible to disable the touch pad mouse pointer thing completely. You know, the thing underneath the space bar. I prefer the little red thing. The pad gets in the way sometimes.

    Sorry if my hardware terminology isn't very clear.

    You can press the Fn key and F8 at the same time. This brings up a box that will allow you to enable the TrackPoint(the red keyboard-based pointing device) or the touchpad, or both. Just select "Enable TrackPoint Only(disable touchpad)" to use just the TrackPoint.
