I have a Thinkpad Z60M with XP and tried to restore the factory settings with the Disk + Product Recovery Disks. One file on Disk 1 was corrupt, but it continued to recover to Disk 6. But it said it had failed on completion. The notebook now just boots up to the Rescue & Recovery Page. I cannot boot from a Windows XP install CD for some reason, despite selecting the DVD drive to boot from. Right now I just want to put an OS on the notebook, but cannot boot from the DVD. Any ideas?
