    Hi,

New to this forum!! Just wanted to know what is the difference between doing a clean install and going to the add/remove menu in control panel to remove bloatware.

Not significantly. You can mostly get rid of crap via add/remove.

For the inexperienced it can be really annoying.

I agree. Nothing beats a clean install.

Faster bootup by quite a bit, the OS just seemed snappier, and it knocked off a good 25-30 of the 90ish running processes. All I thought I didn't install was a few thinkdisadvantage tools, so I have no idea what all was going on, but I don't miss it.
