Hey guys, has anyone compared the LCD brightness between a X60s and a X61?

My X61's LCD is noticeably brighter than my brother's X60s with both at full brightness. That is not to say the X60s is unusable, but the difference is enough to wonder if Lenovo changed the LCD in the X61 lineup. Neither laptop has the Ultralight LCD option installed. I doubt that the backlight is showing its age; his machine is still very new and doesn't have many hours logged.

I think his screen might be defective and thought I might ask here for a second opinion. The X60s does have an existing warranty and it would be nice to make use of it if a problem exists.

I'm not sure if bumps are frowned upon, but here I go!
