    Can someone please help me out understanding what're the differences between these two Kingston memories? Both are 1GB PC2-4200 (533 MHz). I am considering to upgrade my system to 2 GB.

    KVR533D2SO/1GR at Micro Center Link & Pricegrabber.

    KVR533D2S4/1G at Fry's/Outpost & Pricegrabber

    No idea, but go with the one at Fry's (cheaper and probably the same thing)

    Although really I would recommend a stick of G.Skill 1gb from newegg. I just got mine today and installed it on my E1405 and its great.

    On newegg, there are 2 versions listed, and it looks like one is a "compatiblity" version that is pretested with a certain number of dell laptops. Might be that.
