I am considering t40/t41/t41p, what are the differences between them? Thanks...

This is what I've came to understand
T40 - little older model of t41. Has a radeon 7500 (32mb) graphics with amx lcd screen resolution 1024x768
t40p - can be equiped with 64mb graphics screen resolution goes 1400xsomething
T41 - Most have radeon 9000 graphics (32mb) resolution can go up to 1400xsomething, hard drive protection
t41p - 128 mb graphics, 60 gig drive instead of 40, max resolution 1400xsomething
The way its configured is really the main issue. What model you choose just gives you certain options as to how you configure it. -
wow, i'm really bringing this topic back from the dead. is the build quality the same in t40 and t41 models?

In a word, yes, IBM hasn't changed the look, design or construction of it's notebooks in a while...which is good, since it's good. if that makes sense!

There are also T40's that come with 32MB Radeon 9000 and have SXGA+
There are also T40p with 64MB Radeon FireGL and SXGA+ LCD's
