I am running this poll as I have become curious as to if you guys received majorly old versions of Lenovo software on your brand new laptops. For example, my T60 Widescreen that I bought nearly a month ago, when I got it, came with System Restore 2 and Rescue and Recovery 3, when System Restore 3 and RnR4 were already out. Because of the old version of System Restore 2 I did not realize it was SO old until I went onto Lenovo's update site and found so many more updates than what System Update 2 was showing to me.

I think it is a little bit on the BAD side to ship brand new laptops with old software. I can understand video drivers, as new versions come out very often. But the RnR4 and SU3 should be on every laptop, NOT RnR3/SU2, am I right?

    Wouldn't personally bother me much.
