    Can somebody pls tell me if this price ($710US) for used T43 type 1872 is too high?

    I've never owned an IBM/Lenovo or a used machine, but that price doesn't look bad to me, especially with the warranty until next year. My feeling is that if you've already bought it, there's no use in second-guessing yourself. Enjoy your computer and quit worrying.
