I recently bought a new t61 and did some of the tweaks/disabling that I've read either on this forum or other websites.

The time it takes to load after inputing the password is faster, but the time between start-up and getting to the windows password/fingerprint page actually seems longer.

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but is it possible that I turned off something or made a change I shouldn't have which has resulted in the first half of the start-up taking longer than before?

How long does it take you guys (especially if you have a new computer) to go from turning on the computer to getting to the password page?

    thanks!

For me it takes anywhere from 15-30 seconds to get to the password page.

Also, what kind of tweaks did you make?? Did you change anything with Super Fetch by chance?
