    Hello :)
I want to buy this laptop here but I found it here to. All the specs and the prices are the same , but there are different images of the laptops displayed,so I guess there is a mistake somewhere.
I googled "Lenovo G580" and I found two different designs of the model :

    Take a look,this :

    and this:

Both should be G580,but they are considerable different.I'm confused...
    Does anyone have a G580 ? Or a advice ?
Which one is the real G580 ?

There are more differences I think, look at the touchpad, or at the silver line above the keyboard at one of them...

I think the first one (with the slightly brownish tint) is a G580 (Metal) while the second is the G580 (that is black). Check here.
Perhaps it's just the way they are configured at Newegg but the G580 Metal there has better specs than the basic G580.

My neighbor's HP DV6700 recently died from the dreaded nVidia disease and, given the age of the notebook, I recommended the G580 (Metal) as a basic desktop replacement for his 8th grade daughter instead of a motherboard swap. We got it on sale for $379.99 at the egg, ordered an extra 4GB stick of memory, set it up, and I have to say that I'm pretty impressed. With the Intel HM76 chipset, i3 3120M processor, 8GB RAM, and the HD4000 graphics, the little sucker just flies. Basic yes, but the price I think was outstanding.

    Hope that helps... Dave

Looks like the top one uses a US keyboard, and the latter uses an EU-type (UK?) keyboard. In addition to the other differences noted previously.
