Hi,
I did a clean install of vista home premiuim and my computer works great now. However, while in stalling the system i forgot to add the hidden partition to Drive C and have deleted it using Diskpart.
Is there any way that i can include this unallocated space now to be included in Drive C by extending it because this option is greyed out.
Thanks & regards for your help.

You will have to make an image copy of your OS.
After you have done that... delete the old os partition so that the toal space is totally unallocated and then create a system partition out of the total space. Then restore the image into the new combined system partition. -
Thanks a lot for your help but isn't there any easier way to do it?

You could use a Linux livecd which should have gparted on it, or burn a gparted cd, and then you can resize your existing partition to fill the unallocated space.

ACtually, Vista can also do that, if the extra space is not allocated.

If you can dig up a copy of Partition Magic, you can also do it that way.
Note: before you use any partitioning utility, you should back up all of your data. While I've had great success with Partition Magic over the years, it isn't perfect.
If you can't find a copy, as others have said, the best option is to clone the system to another drive (possibly a USB external), repartition the old drive, and then restore the cloned copy. Acronis TrueImage does this very easily; Symantec Ghost isn't bad either. If you're on a tight budget, you can use free open-source software like CloneZilla, but it takes a little more expertise to do.
