I have about 13 cycle counts on my Advanced ultrabay Battery for my z60t, but I noticed it pretty much quits charging after it gets to a certain Wh. So I decided to do a guage reset, and it now says that my battery holds only 21Wh instead of the original 21. I am notoriously meticulous on my charging habits (never letting it charge half way or letting it charge when its partially empty), and am surprised after about 13 uses, I have lost close to 30% of my capacity. Is this normal? Or do you think I got a lemon of a battery?
Anyone have similar stories to share or think its different than what they experienced? Thanks in advance!

actually, LI-ION batteries don't like being fully discharged. So if you really have absolutely drained it 13 times that could have an effect.
Obviously with a Z series battery it isn't too old. Possible it's a lemon, should have a warranty. -
well, the Advanced Ultrabay battery for the z60t is actually Li-poly.
Another thing is, the thinkpads are designed to use the ultrabattery first before using the main battery so you would never run into any user who whold not fully discharge their ultra battery all the way almost every time. i get about an hour extra with the ultrabay battery. when that is fully discharged, my main battery starts getting used. I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what is up. That's pretty poor if I used the battery a dozen times and it's basically lost 30% of its original capacity.
