I enjoy and prefer the badges, myself.

But, it's nice you're enjoying your unbadged ThinkPad.

    :)

I usually debadge my laptops because it'll give it an even wear. The badges start fading and get ugly in a year or two, so when you pull it out, there will be 2 small badge imprints.

i debadged my laptop about 20 minutes after i pulled it out of the box. with my previous laptop i waited about a month before taking the stickers and i ended up getting the infamous two little squares.

I agree, the vista and core 2 duo stickers they use seem to look pretty crappy, quality wise

    uh, whoooopie!

if you really want to "Debadge" it, then take the Thinkpad logos, lenovo, T61 logos off.

I let those stickers earn their way off my notebooks.

When I read the title, that's what I assumed he'd done.

How'd you take the stickers off? Doesn't it leave a sticky residue?

just peel them off. if you get a sticky residue you can dampen a cloth with some warm water and some dish washing detergent. I personally just rubbed the sticky stuff off until it went away with my finger.
