I have a t400 with discrete graphics and an advanced mini dock. I know that if it is set on switchable graphics, it has to be set to discrete for the dvi to work.

But, what happens if I set it to integrated in the bios. shouldnt that make it behave like a t400 without the discrete graphics card? Because the dvi on the integrated t400 can work, so technically it should work?

    Anyone know why it doesnt?

    no idea
maybe in the hybrid graphics t400, there is no physical connection between the integrated graphics and the dvi port?
