Good day everyone, for some reason (I got my new X301 a few months ago), I listen to music all the time with the cd player, but I have yet to put a DVD in the X301. So, I pop a movie in, and nothing. I tried to open the WinDVD player, Windows Media player, and nothing. Am I missing something here ?
Edit: Never-mind, I just restarted the laptop, put the DVD in the drive again, and she works wonderfully now :)
That, and I also had to push in the DVD drive (it seemed to have popped out about 1cm or so for some reason). Now she works like a charm. How the DVD drive managed to pop out in the first place is beyond me. All the screws are in place and tight.
