Hi, can it be done and legitimately? Just want to know for my own satisfaction. The drive is on an L series, L420. What bay would I need to put the hard drive in and does Lenovo sell such a bay?

i know it doesn't have a ultrabay slot, im saying I saw a youtube video of a laptop's dvd drive being taken out and a hard drive being put in place of it. The connector slot worked for both a dvd drive and a laptop drive. But the laptop drive was in some type of larger adapter.
