    DVD MULTI Recorder Not Writing to DVD

    Hi all,

    I have a T500 and the DVD drive will not write to DVD-RW disks however it will write to CD-RWs and it will properly READ DVDs but not write to them.

    The case says "DVD Multi Recorder CD-RW" and windows recognizes this as a DVD-RW drive but it will fail at any attempt to write to a DVD.

    Is this something that should be reported to customer service or is their possibly a setting that needs to be changed.

    I am running Vista Business 32
