    hello,
Has anyone been through a DOA (Dead on Arrival) process before?

I ordered a new T60 from the lenovo website. When it was shipped to me, it had body damage. The battery also had a dent, such that it will not fit with the laptop.
I called them for a replacement, and they put me through what they call the DOA process.

Has anyone had any experience of how long this process takes before you get the replacement? Any advices on other approaches I can take with them? I need to get the laptop and go out of country in 2 weeks, so I am a little urgent.

I am in Canada, if it is of any relevance.

    Thanks a bunch!
