    :D :D :D :D :D

Super amazing. I never expect x301 will be dead silent as X61S ( 07version) .

Even it's under heavy loaded, the fan still stays very quite..

    Recommend everyone pick x301 instead of x300. :D :D

Just got this notice, when I use TPfancontrol, I can clearly tell you x301 is running at lower temperature than x300. about 10-15. :D

I assume that you have owned the x300 and tested under identical conditions? I'm not a scientist, but I find that the room temperature has alot to do with how high the fan runs, and also the hard drive you put in.

If this is true, it will be very important to me because I am searching for a computer that is quiet but thin.

Can anyone verify his claims (I hope that it's true). I thought that the fans were the same in the x300 and x301.

    You are correct!

But if there is no difference between x300 and x301, why lenovo called it as x301 :D

The CPU and chips in x301 is 45nm technology. while it produce less heat than 65 nm.

Also, l7100 is not exact a low voltage CPU, Intel develop this CPU for MAB and x300, but it seems like un finished.

The 45nm processor is the reason for the increased efficiency and reduced heat. This is why almost all of the new models (x301, x200, T400, T500) run cooler and get better battery life than the models they replaced.
