Which is better performance/quality RAM. Price does not matter at all.

Look at the product information and reviews.

well you dont have to, since your laptop uses ddr2 ram, all rams like that will have around 800mhz.
so it doesnt matter what ram you get, theres no dramatic difference
i would try and get a great deal from just about any ram seller like kingston, ocz, and the ones you mentioned -

o.o it doesn't matter which one you get ...ah well get the crucial
-
There is no difference period. They both come from the same company (Micron - makes the actual memory chips).

This is the 2nd thread you've made for this. Most of us have said it doesn't really matter. Just buy the cheapest...or seeing as money doesn't matter by the most expensive.

Their 99.9% identical. The only difference is in the name on each module. LOL... Seriously, just pick one and you'll be happy.

I have always used Corsair in my PCs and have yet to run into a bad stick out of the box or during use. In fact, my current power station desktop is running 2 X 4 GB of Corsair DDR2 800. Just my experience.

I build custom systems frequently and I swear by Crucial for my desktop.

Well.... Sort of - the primary way that ddr2 chips differ nowadays is in their overclocking capabilities, which is related to how they are mounted on the pcboard, and options present for cooling the chips. Even base memory chips from the same company will differ significantly in how much they can be OC'd among vendors. In my experience, Crucial is way better and more stable when clocked, than Corsair, of which I have fried a few. But!!!! Having said that, you are using a T61, which cannot be overclocked beyond 800 Mhz, anyway, so like everyone told you - it really doesn't matter, unless you move them to a platform that can be clocked.
