So I wanted to upgrade the memory in my x200. I purchased the Crucial 4gig kit at newegg:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148191

Great price considering the next cheapest set was about $75. I finally just took the plunge since $56 (w/tax) is rather affordable for a 4gig set.

I noticed there was some compatibility issues reported on newegg with the gskill kit with cl7 on the x200/s. However, the crucial kit works just fine and dandy :).

Wow that is *very* cheap compared to recent pricing.

I recall the best pricing as recently as December for a single 2GB DDR3 SODIMM was about $50 - $60.

I am not sure why crucial's kit is priced so much lower. I assume this will bring down pricing for the other brands.

Nice find, jaredy. That's a good $25-30 cheaper than it's been running lately.

That is a very nice price. I may jump on it and upgrade my X200 to 4GB.

No need to apologize, I want to upgrade RAM for a long time now, just wait for the right price. Instead, I should thank you ;)
    Yeah, I replaced the screen.

xenon can you change your order still? You might as well if you can.

@zephir...could you post some info about your screen swap perhaps in a new thread? Or direct me to one if you already did and I missed it :).

What kind of info do you need? It's a simple drop-in placement, no modification is involved. The hard part is to find somebody who sell this panel. The panel's model number is HV121WX4.

Thanks. Too bad it is glossy though... and I probably shouldn't completely void my warranty. Maybe I will swap it in a few years ;).

Personally, I think glossy helps greatly with contrast, and combined with Flexview, the colors are even more amazing, so I'm glad that the screen is glossy. :)
