I'm trying to order T440p and it always says unable to process the transaction. I tried a few cards i have all of them got the same response. So i try to order by live chat while the order went through and I got the confirmation email yesterday. Today i got a order cancellation email. Is there any reason why this happens? (My credit cards have enough credit.)

Are those credit cards tied to a U.S. address?

I had the same problem in JUne. 1)Tried to submit and order stayed at the "processing" screen. Did not go through, did not get an email. 2) Tried again same problem. 3) Went on live chat the about 20 minutes later representative said it went through no email 4) Rep tried again 4th time. Got the email.
Next about 16 hours later got an email saying order was canceled. Called to figure out why one person said it was because I placed too many orders. Checked my email account 4 pending charges for laptop with one confirmaton. Spoke to Lenovo credit services and they told me it was because I had two orders placed. End up getting cut off and spoke to another department and they said it because I had the one laptop shipping to an address different from my billing. I asked them why credit services saw two. Called back only recognized one computer. Which made sense since I only got one email but credit card had four pending charges.
Called Credit card they dropped the 3 bogus charges and said the 4th legitimate one would have to be "released" by Lenovo in about 3 days. Which it was. Reordered my T430s through the rep again a few days later, got the confirmation email. Lo and behold the rep ordered a T430 instead of the T430s. Suffice to say I canceled all orders and considered it fate because I will soon placing an order for a better machine, the T440s. I might use Amazon payments this time because my account may have already been checked. Someone on here said you regular credit card is better. I think they both may be the same. -
You should make a call to the credit card support line and let them know you're going to be making a large purchase. It lets them know it's not fraudulent.
