Previously, it was possible to create >1 copy by the method:
FactoryRecovery\service_done.ini and changing the string done=1 to done=0.
I saw from http://forum.notebookreview.com/lenovo-ibm/678185-recovery-only-one-copy-w530.html
that this has been removed....
Has anyone been successful in having a work around with the new models?
Particularly in the x230 ?
Much appreciated!!

I like to make an image of the recovery discs, which you can burn off at any time and they work. I've done it myself.

It's been a while but I have used a program called CDBurnerXP that has a feature which allows one to either burn a direct DVD to DVD copy or allows one to create ISOs from data discs. I have successfully produced ISO copies of games that require the game disc in order for one to play. I would put the ISO image on an SD card to load my game rather than carrying around a disc. A bit old school but it worked well enough for me I also found that I could burn that ISO to DVD and it would work fine. Perhaps this might help? Hope I am making sense- just woke up to get the younger kids in my family ready for school
Creating more than 1 copy of the recovery media still possible?
