    Hey NotebookReview,

did anyone try extracting data from Lenovo's i386 dir and creating a WinXP installation CD?

I found some instructions on the "Windows XP Clean Install/Downgrade Guide" thread (the howtohaven.com link - can't link directly)

I would like to try this on a W500, but I am not sure if it will work.

    Thanks.
