I'm considering buying this one, with this price, looks like a really good deal.
Although i do have some thoughts:
    1. There are lots of complaints about the LCD being too dim. Did they fix it yet or is it still the case?
    2. Comparing the 570M to the 8600M GT in the Dell 1530, will i have any problems playing games? Will it perform better/worse/even in games?

And you can give me general comments about my 1530 vs T61p decision.

    Thanks!

The gaming capabilities of the graphics card is around the same.

Also the T61P is better in terms of long term reliability and sturdiness.

As I posted in the review I put up recently, they seemed to have addressed the dim screen complaints. But I had some other issues with the screen (dithering) which might bother you if you are doing photo-editing, but shouldn't be an issue for gaming or office work.

The 570m seems to hold its own at gaming.
