I'm looking at the battery .. um ... area, and I see a slight gap between the brown plastic liner that's in there and the edge of the case. Does anyone else have that?

On the underside, right near the switch for releasing the media drive, there appears to be a threaded hole. Should there be a screw there?

Also, there appears to be a confused, floating stuck pixel. There isn't one in the same spot, but, sometimes, I'll see one in different places. Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Howie

Although I don't have a Z60m, I think I know the answers to your questions. EDIT: At least, the last two.

The threaded hole on the bottom is for a screw that locks the optical drive in place so that it can't be removed. There's no reason to use it unless the laptop is a display model.

That floating 'stuck' pixel is another common problem. I think the consensus is that it has something to do with the Ultranav software or drivers. Try putting the very tip of your cursor over the pixel - you should see the little scrollbar pop up beside the cursor. Unfortunately, I don't think that there's anything that can be done about this.

    Hope that helped!
