Could have I gotten the T61 14" cheaper?

I don't want to sound overly miser-ish, but I am just wondering if I missed out on some discounts.

I used the 25% Memorial Day and the EPP (actually a legitimate EPP, not Mayer, since my brother works at IBM) to get my T61 at 40% off last night. I figure that is pretty good in its own right.

However, I have been seeing things today about FatWallet and TailorMade and wonder if I missed out on some stuff. I usually use Ebates, but I could not mesh clicking from Ebates to Lenovo and logging in for EPP (i.e. I could not find an EPP link off the general Lenovo site). So I think I missed out on that. Was anyone successful using Ebates and EPP? And how does FatWallet work in this regard?

And, I have an American Express Blue Card. What is this TailorMade thing and could I have gotten a discount through it as well?

    Thanks.

Wow, I'm sure you could have "Young Spud",....
    But look at it this way;
You'll forget all about it when you get your new Lappy=Happy... :)

Becuase of the link issue, I do wonder if you could have gotten the TailorMade discount as well. But you can't place another order now as the 25% offer is off the table. So just forget about it, 'cause otherwise it will eat away at you. I hate that feeling......

Yes. You could have used FatCash (6% ;) + AMEX Tailormade (5-10% depending on $ spent) in addition to EPP / SPP / Student discount over the sale. I did that and I believe most people did just that.

But, don't worry about what has already been done. You could always get a better deal in hindsight. I think AMEX Tailormade may get a $350 off Lenovo products (probably over a certain price'y' range) sometime in the future.

Just a couple more minutes of wallowing ;-)

How did you get the link to work from FatCash to the EPP site?

And how does one sign up for Tailormade for future discounts?

    Fatcash:
    1. Go to lenovo through link in FW
    2. Search for epp
    3. Click the first result, which takes you to the EPP pricing shop

    Amex:
    1. Sign up for AMEX Tailormade [ here]
    2. If you account is eligible, they will immediately take you to their tailormade site with different products / companies
    3. You can search for "lenovo" to get the details about their offer
