So I got a company T470s and find it ok (not a fan on the thinkpad kb layout, trackpoint is meh, screen is nice, battery quite good). Seeing how I'll be spending quite a lot of time with it, I was wondering what kind of tweaks I could make to it (since it's a corporate laptop I'd prefer something that doesn't require elevation/BIOS access) to increase battery life and generally make life better?

I haven't been able to find any info on how well the i7U undervolt, and kinda reluctant to experiment. Battery saver helps, and I also tweaked power plans (although they seem to reset once in a while from Balanced to HP, possibly because of GP).
Aside from battery, I managed to enable biometrics (corporate decided to disable them), and discovered that you can swap the Ctrl and Fn, my main gripe with the thinkpad keyboard (although I've just gotten used to it) -
Corporate T470s - possible tweaks?
