    I waited all summer for the Core 2 Duo chips' release to get a laptop, and now they're out...but not for Thinkpads. Googling has produced nothing; does anyone know when Lenovo is planning to upgrade the Thinkpads to include the Core 2 Duo?

    Talk with IBM. Their latest models that support Core Duo might have a BIOS update to allow upgrades to Core 2 Duo
