I have a newish T60 with a DVD/CD RW drive. Yesterday I tried to copy some audiofiles to a DVD (as opposed to a CD). I used my computer and copy and paste. It would not copy. Can one not copy an audiofile to a DVD?

Are you trying to use windows built in burning program, or some other burning application?

I would seriously suggest using a better program than windows internal burner. Blech.

My favorite is Nero, I hate that they bundle all their garbage with it now... but just install nero buring rom and only that. But to each his own.

i don't think DVDs work the same way as CDs. but like chadwicktr suggested, you should get Nero burning rom. and then there will be an option under DVD to create an Audio DVD.

Thanks. I guy at Staples also recommended Nero. Like a dummy, I forgot that I can only play the DVD on a DVD player, whereas I planned to play the stuff in my car. So I got some CD/R's.

For making audio CDs I like Windows Media Player and you already have it.
