I've been doing configurations on different Lenovo laptops and I keep trying to do the Convert to Quote option on the checkout, but I never get an email with the quote. I've tried several times, anyone else had similar experiences?

A few weeks ago I made a couple of quotes, but never got any emails. It looks like it still makes the quote though because on the second quote I ended up writing down the order information and was able to pull it up later on. In fact, I converted that quote to a real order a week later and the notebook just shipped today.

I had the same problem. I did email the convert to quote during Memorial Day sale. I could not log in after that. And I forgot to write down the order number. Could have saved $300.00

I just save the webpage, but PDFs are even better.

The problem is what happens when an included component is no longer available?

Since I never have gotten a quote email with the details how does it work. Does it basically look in that price for 30 days even if the sales change?

you need that number, without it, you dont have a quote. You might be able to call lenovo and look it up based on your user account. yes the price and specs are locked in

You should print out the page that has the customer number and order number on it. My problem is that I have a quote I made on memorial day that expires on june 27th. It would bring down the final price of my computer $170. Our computers are set to ship on the 26th, but who knows. I'm getting this discount one way or another because it's not my fault my computer was delayed 2 months.

I don't know what other people use, but PDFCreator is free and has worked well for me.

So....what happens when a quote is made with things like Atheros N cards, or screen sizes that are no longer available? Are the quotes totally voided?

How many quotes can you make? I want to order later, but I don't want the price to go up. I'm still not sure which configuration I want.

Where do you find the Convert to Quote option? I add a configuration to my cart, and I can't locate it there.

You have to get to the point of entering CC info. Then it's at the bottom.
