    I could swear that my eyes not are deceiving me. The contrast on my T400's display seems to fluctuate randomly.

    Anyone else experience this or know of a fix? I really can't afford to send my Lenovo in for service now beginning this new semester.

    It's the LED backlit WXGA display, I don't know the specific manufacturer/model.

    Control Panel > Intel GMA Mobile Settings (just search for Intel in the searchbar) > Display Settings > Power Settings > Modify Settings > Intel Display Power Saving technology > Crank the bar to maximum quality
