    Connecting X61 from VGA to TV

    I tried searching the forum but found nothing specific to my setup.

    My X61 only has VGA while my TV only has s-video, component video and typical RCA. Will I be able to connect my laptop to the TV using this?

    Most likely not, as I don't believe the x61 (or any ThinkPad for that matter) supports TV out over VGA. You will need a much more expensive scan converter if you want to convert from VGA to S-Video or preferably Component.
