I just got my new HDTV setup and I hope to know if its possible to make the most of its 1080P resolution by connecting my T61 to it.

I've made some research and known that I need to buy an advanced mini dock for DVI port, and I also need a DVI-HDMI cable (single link is enough) for the connection.

The only thing I am not sure is whether the video card of T61(NVS 140M) supports 1920X1080 or not?? I mean digital resolution.

Some say that the max digital resolution of NVS 140m is only 1600x1200, while analog one would be much greater. If this is true, does that mean that I can only use 1600X1200 with my HDTV???

As my understanding, HDMI port on the TV side accepts only digital signal(not like some large LCD Displays with DVI I/D port, which can accept both digital/analog signal).

If 1600X1200 is the max resolution I can get from T61 on my TV, its pretty disappointing....all things shown up would be blur...

    Any suggestion?? Thx
