This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Don't take too much from these rankings. Look at the list. Some of the laptops aren't even directly comparable. Also t400 pricing probably puts it back too, but stuff is always on sale :).

    The list is top ten " all-purpose" laptops: "These laptops can do it all and are a great choice for most notebook users."

    So...the point is nice job to Lenovo for getting TWO on the list FWIW.

    The Y and T are nice machines.

    Yes, that is great for lenovo. I know lenovo has some good machines; I use its products. Just being fair saying this list is not really something to look that far into. What does "all-purpose" laptop mean? For one the screen sizes vary from 12-16inchs...
