On the lenovo US SPP website, when you get to the warranties section, there seems to be double of everything for 2/3/4 years. For example, I was planning on adding a 4 year warranty:
4Yr Battery Warranty [add $111.20]
4YR Depot [add $159.20]
4YR Depot [add $183.20]
4YR Onsite [add $239.20]
4YR Depot + 4YR ADP [add $239.20]
4YR Onsite [add $279.20]
4YR Depot + 4YR ADP [add $303.20]
4YR Onsite + 4YR ADP [add $359.20]
4YR Onsite + 4YR ADP [add $455.20]
Why are there 2 4yr depots, 2 4 yr onsites, 2 4yr depot+adp, and 2 4yr onsite+adp?
It's like that for 2 and 3 year warranties as well, so whats the difference between them? Why the price difference? Does the more expensive one include something the cheaper one doesn't?
Also for the 5 year warranties why is there no ADP available?
What is the "onsite+priority" service that's available only with the 3 year warranty?
Why is the battery warranty separate under years 3, 4 and 5 and not even available for years 1 or 2? What if you want the battery warranty in addition to the regular warranty? Is it included, and the "battery warranty" option is there if you want to insure only the battery and not the rest of the laptop?
For the battery warranty, is that limited to a certain number of instances? Can you only claim/submit a bad battery once or X number of times?
And lastly, what about personally upgraded parts like an SSD and ram. I presume if your upgraded ram fries or ssd dies lenovo wont do anything. And if your whole computer dies, your replacement will have the ram and hdd specs closest to what your machine was originally spec'd to?

Accidental is limited to four years. I don't know why there's two of everything. Either they're typos or on sale most likely. Upgraded parts should be covered under the manufacturer warranty.
