    Confused About Order Status

    On December 7, I placed an order for the T43 (closeout model- great price) from the lenovo website. I'm still waiting for my order to build and ship, which is fine. I've been in contact with Customer Service/Sales on a (almost) daily basis to understand the status of my order...Never am I given the same story about the status of my order! At one point, I was told the order was not being filled at all (The rep later informed me that my order would be filled and that she gave me wrong information). Today when I called the rep gave me a ship date (Jan 8th) and then the call was dropped. I had a few more questions and called back...the rep this time gave me a different ship date (Jan 12th) :confused: ! From reading through these forums, I've learned that this isn't anything new...

    My question to you all is how to get to the bottom of this and understand what the real status of my order is!?!?

    You'll never get a straight answer from Lenovo. Wait patiently until the computer arrives at your doorstep.

    I'm still waiting for my T60 order and I ordered it on November 21st, 2006. Been told many different things as well...mostly due with parts on back order...a bad battery issue...

    Still waiting. Apparently my order is now on the "Executive" status, which Amazon CEO's get put into so that it is a high priority....or so I'm told.

    I can't wait much longer...as much as I want to wait it out since the Thinkpads are the best...this is literally costing me money.
