    Hello.

Whenever I am pressing the Delete button (trying to delete a file) or Shift-Delete, I get an error massage (see picture attached - it says: "to protect your computer windows closed this porogram," or something like that ). Once I press OK the computer sort sort of closes everything (but not appications). The toolbar will disapear and the folder will close as well.

    Why?

It looks like explorer.exe is crashing. If explorer.exe crashes (or if you manually kill the process yourself via the task manager), the toolbar and any explorer windows (like the file explorer) will die. If you want the toolbar to reappear:

    1. Bring up the Run... dialog. You can do this by pressing WindowsKey+R. You can also bring up this dialog by opening Task Manager (ctrl+alt+del), then click File/New Task (Run...).
    2. Simply type "explorer.exe" and press enter.

As for why deleting files is causing explorer.exe to crash, I don't know.

    Thanks for replying!

    It actually re-appears by itself.

    Does anyone know?

    Maybe a Virus?
